在Trance电音界人才济济天王环似的情况下，DJ Tiesto（提雅斯多）无视Paul Van Dyk、Paul Okenfold的人气夹杀下，依然击败强敌获得DJ Magazine年终百大DJ评监冠军，成为称霸世界的Trance电音王者。荷兰出生14岁就开始了他早熟的DJ事业，历经多年的DJ生涯后Tiesto开始帮其他艺人混音并成立自己唱片公司Black Hole，一连推出7张叫好又叫座的《Magik》混音电音合辑系列。但令他登上电音界高峰的，便是他为了Sarah McLachlan量身混制的“The Silence”，4周UK单曲榜TOP 10的成绩，真可谓名利双收。此外让人津津乐道便是他与Ferry Corsten (System F)合作的电音组合GOURYELLA，行云流水的Trance舞曲，早已是全球个大Pub必备的国歌。
??2001年底，Tiesto独自挑起大梁推出第一张完全自己混音、制作的大碟《IN MY MEMORY提雅斯多的魔音记忆》，专辑甫一发行立即变成所有音乐杂志的高评监，频频推崇Tiesto出神入化电音技巧，巧妙地让Trance真正成为至高的电子艺术，所营造出如梦似幻的迷音仙境，就像一幅幅花朵灿开的绘画，既有深度又极其亲近而让人心神荡漾。2002再次推出的《超值纪念盘》，除了原有日本指定盘外，还赠送一张集合电音名人御用混音的特别盘，其中收Way Out West、Airwave、Mauro Picotto、Svenson & Gielen…等人的绝妙混音，不听可惜。
